In this week’s sermon, we consider the role of truth in leading us to freedom, along with the slavery of our own desires. The law leads us away from ourselves, but is only profitable to us if we are willing to follow that law to Christ. If we reject his truth, and prefer to believes lies about ourselves, that shows us that we are not truly children of God, but children of Satan himself, the father of lies.
